Decorate your home with Feng Shui crystals

Feng shui. You’ve heard it at least a thousand and eight… well now nine times. But, what does ‘feng shui’ truly mean in the first place? (That makes it a thousand and ten times.)

“To use energy forces to harmonize individuals with their surrounding environment.” Well, it still sounds a little complicated. So let’s simplify that. “It’s how energy flows through your room, garden etc.” We are finally getting somewhere, but we can do better!

Think of it as an air circulation so the energies wouldn’t get stagnant. And stagnant energy weighs you down. Now that paints a clear picture.

It also raises another question. How do you know if the feng shui in your home is good or bad? Here’s a quick way to find the answer.

Do you feel good at home, or is there something off, but you can’t exactly put your finger on what it is? Do you wake up feeling motivated to conquer the day and get things done or do you still feel tired and groggy? Do you step into your home feeling cozy, comforted, and with positive vibes or the exact opposite? Do you noticed that you're aching to get out of the house because you're tired of your surroundings?

These are all signs from your subconscious mind telling you that there is stagnant or negative energy lingering in your home - your ultimate place of sanctuary.

Due to the specific energies and vibrations crystals bring, they are widely used in feng shui. (Think of them as energy circulators.) Here are the four crystals to create an environment that has the best energy intended for that space.

Entrance - Black Obsidian

Black Obsidian

In feng shui, the front door is considered the main portal of energy. Black Obsidian is a stone of purification that protects against negative energy. When you enter your home, you don’t want to be bombarded with stagnant energy that injects you with negative energy, ultimately wearing you down. Let black obsidian circulate out everything you don’t want to come into your house. Keep the negative energy out of your sanctuary and home.

Living room - Clear Quartz

Clear Quartz

It is one of the busiest rooms, with lots of active energies colliding. Which can turn into a mix of chaotic emotions. Recirculate energy with Clear Quartz. And create a nice, always moving calm atmosphere. Clear Quartz is like a spa day in your home.

Kids room - Hematite

Hematite

Do you have kids? Do they have trouble concentrating? (Well... we all know the real answer to the second one.) Place a Hematite into your kids room (or just have it around somewhere in your home). And let its grounding energy do its work.

Bedroom - AmethystRose Quartz

Rose Quartz

How many hours did you sleep today? Given that the average person sleeps 8 hours a day, this comes out to around 230,000 hours in their lifetime. Bedroom is the most important room in your home. How often is your mind racing right before falling asleep? Whether your mind is racing about the past, the present, or the future.

You want to fill your bedroom with passionate, and at the same time, peaceful energy. Rose Quartz and Amethyst. Amethyst is great for when you can’t seem to fall asleep at night. And Rose Quartz unleashes ‘yin’ feminine energy, also filling your bedroom with passion.

And as a bonus: Jade

Jade

Place a Jade crystal in the East part of your home. It’s energy is said to promote health, wealth and wisdom - to live your best life.

Surround yourself with nourishing energy from the stunning gifts from the planet.

Love and light,
