A morning ritual to create the reality you want

“I can do it, I can do it.” I bet you have mumbled that, or “I got this” before a nerve wrecking situation. Maybe even while walking back and forth. (The last one happens usually before or during an important phone call.)

Quoting Buddha: “What we think we become”. When you feel good about yourself, when you fill yourself with courage - positive attitude and action follows. And when it’s the opposite, well…

Generally speaking, affirmations are used to reprogram our subconscious mind to encourage us. Whether it’s to believe in something about ourselves or to “fire” us up to go after what we want in life.

I have a habit of chanting my favorite affirmation right after waking up. Do I do this every day? Definitely not, because when I’m in a hurry, it’s the last thing on my mind. Like I said, a habit not a routine. Because once it turns into a routine I know it loses some value, especially when I know I’d have to force it. It should always come from the heart.

Have affirmations truly helped me in life? Like I wrote before - when you feel good about yourself, positive attitude and actions follow.

It’s hard to put into numerical proof that yes, everything has changed exactly 87.4% for the better. What I can say with 100% certainty though is that my affirmations make me feel better in my own skin. It helps me understand what’s important in life.

If you feel like you want something to change, or you know you should be more grateful. I suggest you try affirmations, even if you don’t seem to religiously believe in it. Remember the Buddha quote? “What we think we become.” You deserve the best in life. Let affirmations take you one step closer, because when you feel empowered, nothing can stop you.

Here are some powerful affirmations I’ve been using. Maybe you’ll find something from that list that speaks to you too.

“I’m always going to be able to find something to appreciate around me.”

“I acknowledge my own self-worth.”

“Today, I abandon my old habits and take up new, more positive ones.”

“I am a journey of healing and discovery.”

“I remind myself what I am capable of.”

“My ability to conquer my challenges is limitless.”

“I am the gardener of my own soul.”

You deserve the best in life. Let affirmations take you one step closer. When you feel empowered, nothing can stop you. Positive affirmations prime the brain to notice more opportunities.

If the world of affirmations is no stranger to you, what’s your favorite affirmation?

Love and light,

~Christina
