10 Affirmations for Fall

Good morning Soul Charmer. It’s the second day of the Fall and I’m already in love with it! (In case you didn’t know, Fall started on Monday, September 23rd.)


I just love chilly breezes, watching the leaves change colors, and the refreshing earthy scent that’s only unique to the Fall. It already makes me want to roll into a warm blanket, pick up a book and light some candles… and glance at the stormy weather outside from my warm fortress.


I just drifted away entirely... are you still here? You are? Great!


Fall and the beauty of letting go… Nature is always subtly telling us what to do. In order to maintain our vitality, we must get rid of anything that’s not positively serving us. Our lives, just like nature, are full of cycles.

Here are 10 self-care affirmations (that I have been using) to help you move forward in life. I mean, that is what this life is for, right? My favourite is #7.


If affirmations make your eyes roll, remember that they aren’t some magical mantras. They are stepping stones. One by one guiding you. If you repeat mantras, or any type of positive affirmations without actually following through - I’ve got some bad news for you.


I find the best affirmations are the ones you write yourself. For example, you can start them with “I am the captain of my ship. I choose how/ what…”


Fill in the gaps accordingly. For example: “I am the captain of my ship. I choose how my day will unfold.”


And remember. It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.


Here are 10 affirmations for Fall to help both of us to move forward in life. Use these or adjust them accordingly.

1. I am a priority in my own life.
2. I breathe good thoughts in and breathe bad thoughts out.
3. I am not my mistakes.
4. I ask for what I need.
5. I am in control of my emotions.
6. I see all challenges in my life as opportunities for growth.
7. I am the captain of my ship. I choose how my days and life unfold.
8. I am grounded, confident, worthy and whole.
9. I am worthy of all things wonderful.
10. I am stronger, wiser and more confident with each new day.

Let these self-care affirmations help you move forward in life.
